The Samyang 50mm T1.3 AS UMC CS VDSLR Cine Lens is the film / video version of the Samyang 50mm f/1.2 AS UMC CS lens featuring the same superb optics, but with integrated gearing for video rigs with follow focus systems, including decoupled aperture, and T stops. The Cine lenses allow more controlled filming operation, the declicked aperture operates quietly and smoothly, distance scales and T numbers are marked on both sides of the lens for convenience of operation.
The Samyang 50mm T1.3 lens is a fully manual lens including manual focus, specifically designed for mirrorless cameras with APS-C or smaller sized sensor. Equivalent to a short telephoto lens, equivalent to 75mm on 1.5x crop APS-C sensor and 100mm lens on 2x crop MFT sensor The Samyang 50mm T1.3 cine is a great lens for close cropped portraits, and other applications requiring a short, fast telephoto lens. Its relatively compact size and weight for such a fast aperture lens means it is easily portable and unobtrusive, great for candid or low light street video or film work.

Cine Lens Features
Samyang 50mm T1.3 AS UMC CS allows more delicate video work with T number marks. The focus gear ring is installed for follow focus system. You may change the aperture quietly and smoothly with the uncoupled aperture gear rings. Also, distance scale and T numbers are marked on both sides of the lens for convenience.
Samyang 50mm T1.3 AS UMC CS has a significantly low T number (T1.3). You may precisely control the lens when shooting under various exposure environment including relatively dark situations. This lens features 9 glasses in 7 groups including 2 glass aspherical lenses (ASP) to offer high resolution throughout the image. Ultra Multi Coating(UMC) of Samyang Optics is used to optimise the light penetration and minimises flare and ghost.
There are 9 aperture blades designed to be almost as a full circle when aperture is closed which expresses starlike ray clearly and beautifully. The solid frame of the lens is made of high-strength aluminium alloy so you can create trustworthy images. This compact and light-weighted lens is specially designed for mirrorless cameras for portability. Also, detachable petal-shaped lens hood minimises flare and ghost by sheltering lens from unnecessary lights.
