The long-awaited successor to Fujifilm's first X-series mirrorless digital camera, the Fujifilm X-Pro2 Body Only sports a high-resolution X-Trans CMOS III sensor and redeveloped X-Processor Pro. Now weighing in at 24.3MP, the APS-C CMOS sensor incorporates the proprietary X-Trans technology and its randomised pixel array to afford a high degree of sharpness and accurate colour reproduction, along with high expanded sensitivity to ISO 51200. The camera is capable of recording stills at up to 8 fps and Full HD 1080p video at 60 fps, along with quick focusing and overall performance speeds. Unique among camera designs, the X-Pro2 is also heavily characterised by its Advanced Hybrid Multi Viewfinder that blends both optical and electronic viewing methods into a single, switchable finder, giving you the best of both worlds in regard to clear viewing and the ability to preview exposure settings prior to shooting. Cementing its place as a professional tool, the X-Pro2 also features a robust, weather-sealed body design accented by a range of physical controls for intuitive handling in any condition.
Besides image quality, the sensor and processor combination also avails a highly precise, versatile autofocus system that is comprised of 273 points and uses both phase- and contrast-detection methods. The phase-detection system covers nearly 40% of the entire image frame with 77 points, which is beneficial to subject tracking and fast overall AF performance, while the majority of the frame is then covered by contrast-detection areas for accurate focusing from edge-to-edge. Also featured in the X-Pro2 is a range of customisable function buttons, 3.0" 1.62M-dot rear LCD for image playback, live view shooting and menu navigation, and built-in Wi-Fi for wireless controls and image sharing.

Improved Image Quality
The X-Pro2’s 24.3MP X-Trans CMOS III APS-C sensor boasts the highest ever pixel count for an X-Series camera, delivering a new level of X-series photo quality by combining the brand new X-Trans CMOS III sensor newly-developed X-Processor Pro engine.
More Advanced X-Processor Pro
Thanks to the newly-developed X-Processor Pro engine, processing speeds are now approximately four times faster than a conventional model. This maximises the capabilities of the X-Trans CMOS III sensor to ensure it delivers the highest image quality with super-fast response times. In addition, thanks to the high-speed reading technology of the sensor, the conventional EVF's display speed of 54fps has been increased to a maximum of 85fps*. This substantially reduces the image delay phenomenon when tracking a moving subject. Blackout time after release has also been reduced by approximately half and compressed RAW is supported, improving the ease-of-handling of RAW data. The FUJIFILM X-Pro2 features a new CPU for high-speed processing. The Buffer memory has also been increased for an even faster response.
Hybrid Optical and Electronic Viewfinder
The FUJIFILM X-Pro2 is the only interchangeable lens camera in the world featuring a Hybrid Viewfinder system that incorporates both optical and electric viewfinders. The EVF is simultaneously displayed as a small window in the optical viewfinder. It can be displayed in three different ways, ultimately allowing the user to check focus, the angle-of-view, exposure and white balance in real-time, even when taking photos through the OVF. As it can also be used with MF assist, precise manual focus is possible in the OVF mode.
The number of selectable focusing points has been expanded from 49 on previous Fujifilm models to 77 for greater functionality and faster autofocus.
With key functions located on the right hand side of the camera body, all main controls can be accessed without taking your eye from the viewfinder. A new front command dial also features, while the shutter speed and ISO dials have now been combined into one dial, which is reminiscent of those found on old film cameras. Changes can also be made while the camera is switched off, so users will always be ready for the next photo opportunity. Finally, a maximum of 16 frequently used items can be registered to the My Menu feature. When combined with the 16 items from the Q Menu, a total of 32 shortcuts can be created.
Rugged and reliable body that is ready for anything professional users can throw at it. the luxurious body of this new flagship model is made from highly robust magnesium alloy, which feels both solid and reliable in the hand. The dials are milled from aluminium and operating with a re-assuring click. In addition, the Fujifilm X-Pro2 has many pre-requisites of a professional camera, including dust-resistance, water-resistance and the ability to work in low-temperatures. Furthermore, The Fujifilm X-Pro2 is the first mirrorless camera to offer dual SD card slots for highly reliable data storage.
