Yes! Every single product on our website comes with a 12-month back-to-base Australian Manufacturer's Warranty. We have an account with the major authorised Australian distributors of the leading brands in the photography industry (Canon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Sony, Vanguard, etc.) so you can be sure that we sell genuine Australian stock ONLY. - How do I make a warranty claim?
Goods not of merchantable quality (i.e. faulty) can be returned within 14 days of the date of the invoice being issued and where possible we will offer an exchange for a new item. We will arrange a refund if we are unable to replace or exchange the goods returned. We can process a refund by reimbursing your credit card, or by returning funds to your PayPal or your bank account - whichever payment method was used to pay for your order.
Since ALL our products come with genuine Australian Manufacturers' Warranties, anything over 14 days must be returned to the manufacturer (e.g. Canon Australia, Sony Australia, etc.) for evaluation and they will be repaired or replaced at their discretion. You can buy an extended warranty if you buy your digital camera from us. Our extended warranties are provided by Phototechnical - Nationwide Camera Repairers, a company with over a 30-year experience in repairing cameras. They handle all makes and types of cameras, from the antique to the latest digital models. - Do you also sell 'grey market' cameras?
No! We ONLY offer digital cameras and other products for sale which we source from authorized Australian distributors (such as Canon Australia, Sony Australia, etc.), which means you automatically receive a genuine Australian Manufacturer's Warranty for the repair or replacement of your equipment in the event of any manufacturing defects for usually one year from the date of purchase. To guarantee customer satisfaction, we DO NOT endorse the sale of parallel or grey imports - products imported directly into Australia by the retailer or their import agent. These products might be refurbished items and they are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty, and are not eligible for instant or mail-in rebates. - Can I buy Duty Free cameras from CamBuy?
The Australian Government's Tourist Refund Scheme (TRS) enables you to claim a refund, subject to certain conditions, of the goods and services tax (GST) that you pay on goods you buy in Australia.
To claim a refund you must:
- Spend $300 (GST inclusive) or more in the one store and get a single tax invoice
- Buy goods no more than 30 days before departure
- Wear or carry the goods on board the aircraft or ship and present them along with your original tax invoice, passport and international boarding pass to a Customs Officer at a TRS facility
- Claims at airports are available up to 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of your flight.
- Claims at seaports should be made no earlier than 4 hours and no later than 1 hour prior to the scheduled departure time of the vessel.

Since we operate from a warehouse and an office to offer pick-ups, we are able to minimise overhead expenses and have a low profit margin, and thus we can offer our products at very low prices. - What payment methods do you accept?
CamBuy accepts all the major payment methods, including credit card, bank deposit, and PayPal payments. Please note that your credit card will be charged automatically as you proceed through the checkout, irrespective of whether there is available stock. If you are not comfortable paying by credit card over the Internet, you can select 'Phone ordering' payment method on checkout and phone us to provide your credit card details over the phone after completing your order.
You may wish to select 'Bank Deposit' as payment method. In this case simply complete your order and make the payment to our account entering your order number into the 'Reference/Message' field.

We are open 10am - 6pm (AEST) from Monday to Friday, 10am - 4pm (AEST) on Saturday. We are closed on Sunday and Public Holidays. Please feel free to contact us! - Can I pick up my order?
You are welcome to collect your order at 13/36 O'Riordan Street, Alexandria NSW 2015.
Items that are in stock will usually be ready for pick-up within two hours. All payments must be cleared prior to collection of orders (EFT may take up to 48 hours to clear).
Important: To pick up your items, you will need to bring the credit card used for payment (unless you selected a different payment method) and a valid photo ID. You will receive a Pickup Notification email when each item becomes ready for collection. Please wait for the Pickup Notification email before coming to collect your order. - What are your delivery charges?
We deliver your order up to $200 for a delivery fee of just $8.95, orders over $200 for $14.95. Freight on some bulky items, such as tripods and large camera bags will be charged at a flat rate of $14.95 regardless of their price. For your peace of mind, you may select our fully insured shipping method for a minimal surcharge. We dispatch products in stock within 24 hours and deliveries usually take 1-4 business days (except WA, NT, and Far North Queensland, where deliveries may take 5-9 business days).
The delivery of products temporarily out of stock may take longer than specified above. In these rare cases we will contact you with the estimated time of delivery and you will have the option to cancel your order if the time frame is unsatisfactory. We normally use Australia Post's Registered Parcel Delivery Service to deliver products. Please note that we do not deliver overseas or PO Box addresses.
We might choose to deliver bulky items, such as tripods and large camera bags, by courier. In these cases, please ensure that somebody is present at the address you provide to us at the expected time of delivery in order to avoid possible re-delivery fees charged by the carrier. We replace any goods that are lost in transit, or arrive at their destination faulty or damaged. Please notify our Customer Service Team of any faulty or damaged products within 48 hours of your parcel being signed for or if the delivery of your order is taking unreasonably long.

- I lost my tax invoice you sent with my order. How can I get a new one?
You can view and (re)print your tax invoices from our website. Simply log into your account, click on 'Order history' (in the top right-hand corner), and you will have to option to view or print the tax invoices of all your past orders. - I forgot my password and I cannot log into my account. How can I recover it?
Simply click on the 'Recover password' link on our Help Zone page, enter your username with a valid e-mail address (the one you used for registration), and your account information will be emailed to you shortly.
If, for some reason, you do not receive your account information in an email within a few minutes, please feel free to contact us and we will reset your password after verifying your identity. - How can I change my account details?
You can change your account details by logging into your account, and following the 'Modify profile' link. You will be able to change your personal information, billing and shipping address, contact information, and your password. - How can I delete my account?
